Warranty Procedures  |  Warranty Faq's
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Splash SuperPool, LLC (Splash) Limited Warranties are legally binding agreements between Splash and the consumers who buy our pools and or Splash Tubs, from our Authorized Splash Dealers. The Splash Warranty is very specific about what IS covered, and by virtue of inclusion or exclusion, what is NOT covered.

We highly recommend that our Authorized Dealers and all their sales personnel become and remain familiar with all of its terms and conditions. Be assured that Splash is dedicated to honoring its written commitments in the Limited Warranties. However, Splash will not be bound by commitments made by Splash Authorized Dealers or their sales personnel, if such commitments are not specifically covered under the warranty document.

The following “Warranty and Returns Information Manual” is provided to help our Dealers and Consumers follow the proper procedures in the event that Splash has issued a “Return Goods Authorization” form for a warranty claim. It is designed to help make the return process easier and to provide the least down time for our valuable customers.

Deposits on returns
Deposits are required on all returns for repair or warranty. Deposits must be made directly to Splash. A check or money order can be mailed to Splash (Attn. Warranty/Repair), or deposits can be taken by phone with an American Express, Visa, or MasterCard credit card.

The deposits are as follows:
Liner only $100 (*Note: structure is rarely required when returning a liner for any type of repair. Returning the structure without specific request/requirement from Splash will result in additional charges to the dealer or customer.)
SplashTub (complete) $200
SplashTub (without the pack or cover) $150
SplashPack only $50
Other smaller accessories $25

Non-Warranty Repair Needs
If a customer's pool has been damaged, the customer should attempt to contact their Dealer first. The requirements and procedure for returning a pool for repair is basically the same as for a warranty return. Please refer to the sections on Claim Procedure and Return Process.

(Remember: Field patching a Splash SuperPool with the proper material and glue does not affect the warranty.)

Warranty Registration
The Warranty Registration Certificate is located at the bottom of the warranty included with a Splash pool. The card is perforated for easy removal. This card is the first step in the warranty procedure. Completing this card correctly registers customers with the Splash Warranty Department in the event future assistance is required. The serial number is printed on a white patch approximately 3” x 6” (About the size of a dollar bill) welded on the side of the pool. It is usually on the skimmer corner. NOTE: Valid warranty registration includes completing all blanks and mailing the card within twenty (20) days of purchase.

NOTICE:
It is imperative that the Splash Warranty Registration be in Splash's possession before a claim is made. Without the registration, Splash may not be able to honor the warranty. If there are any questions about this you may contact the Splash Warranty Department at 1-800-927-7527.

Warranty Claim Procedure
The Customer should contact their Authorized Splash Dealer first . The Dealer can assist the Customer in determining if the pool should be returned for Splash to determine if it is a warranty claim or customer damage that requires repair. If the Dealer determines the liner must be returned to Splash, the Dealer or customer will need to contact the warranty department at Splash in order to set up a Return Goods Authorization.

Please note the following information will be required.
Customer is responsible for marking all damages with duct tape. (Customer can write on duct tape (not liner) with a marker as needed.) Unmarked liners will be charged for a water-test ($100, $200, or $300 – depending on the pool size). Liner must be clean and dry before properly packaging it for return. (See Page 10) A charge for cleaning will be applied, if returned wet or dirty. Splash also requires the serial # of any merchandise being returned to Splash. It would be wise to recoed the serial # of your liner before packaging it. The customer is responsible for protecting their merchandise from further damage during shipping. Liners can be returned in the original bag or enclosed in a tarp or box, but MUST BE PROPERLY PACKAGED . (See page 10) No parts of the liner should be showing.*** All charges (freight, repair, cleaning, etc.) must be paid before liner will be returned to the customer. ***Improperly packaged pools can result in additional damage for which Dealer or customer will be responsible.

(Note: If a dealer chooses to replace a liner without first consulting Splash, Dealer assumes responsibility for all charges.)

Return Procedure
Please note the following information will be required before contacting Splash.
Customer is responsible for marking all damages with duct tape. (Customer can write on duct tape (not liner) with a marker as needed.) Unmarked liners may be charged for a water-test ($100, $200, or $300 – depending on the pool size). Liner must be clean and dry before properly packaging it for return. A charge for cleaning will be applied, if returned wet or dirty. Splash requires a serial # off any merchandise being returned to Splash. It would be wise to record the serial # of your liner before packaging it. Splash will not issue any Return Good Authorizations without the serial #. The customer is responsible for protecting their merchandise from further damage during shipping. Liners can be returned in the original bag or enclosed in a tarp or box, but MUST BE PROPERLY PACKAGED.

All charges (freight, repair, cleaning, etc.) must be paid before liner will be returned to the customer.

Additional Information:
Liner must be free of moisture before folding and packaging. Moisture can mold and mildew, resulting in a stained liner. Stains are not covered by the warranty.
The customer or dealer should obtain an RGA Number before returning any product to Splash SuperPools. Items returned without an RGA Number will be refused at the dock and returned to the sender at the sender's expense. RGA #'s will only be issued after the liner is ready for pick-up and is at the location and the serial # is confirmed.
After an RGA Number is assigned, shipment will be arranged through Splash. We receive a discount from our trucking companies that we would gladly pass on to our customers.

Folding Procedure
Rectangular

1. With all structure and fittings removed, stretch the liner out as flat as possible with the long walls folded in on the pool. The short walls should lie completely down so that the white top rail material is on the outside edge of the collapsed pool.

2. (Note: Each corner section comes to a point near the “floor” of the liner. Use these four corners to line up your folds for the walls.) Fold the short walls toward the center of the pool using the corners and seams as your guide(s).

3. You should have a rectangle with the short walls overlapping the long walls. The size of the rectangle should correspond to the size of your pool. (i.e. 13 x 25.5 pool should give you a rectangle 13' x 25'6”)

4. Fold the long side of your rectangle in stopping where the blue and white vinyls meet. Repeat on other long side.

5. Fold each of these long sides in one more time just slightly short of the very middle of the pool.

6. Finally, fold these two halves one on top of the other. (Use your body weight to “walk-out” the air as you fold up your pool. It is suggested you do this wearing only socks to be certain you are not causing damage with small rocks or glass stuck to the bottom of your shoes.)

7. Fold up one end of this long tube to approximately one fourth of the entire length. (You want to make two folds to get you to the middle.)

8. Do the same from the other end and do one final fold to put the two halves together. This should fit into your original bag.

NOTE: Improper folding of the liner may result in damage to the pool for which the customer will be charged.

Return Preparation and Packaging
Drain, dry, clean, and package the pool

a. Drain the pool.

b. Dry: a pool should be DRY before shipping; pools folded up with moisture in them will mold and mildew before they get back to us and this will permanently stain the pool. This is not covered by Splash's warranty.

c. Clean is a relative term, but we ask that customers/dealers clean the liner as best they can; pools that have to be cleaned to inspect or repair will result in a charge for cleaning. This fee is for cleaning the area of the pool that needs repair and the repair area here in Splash's warehouse.

d. Package: the pool must be folded down and packed in it's original bag, wrapped in a tarp, or placed in a cardboard box. Duct tape should be used to secure the tarp or the box and none of the liner should be exposed. (Be sure to write serial # down before doing this step.)

Products will be returned through the dealer via UPS (only small stuff) or via Conway Trucking. If a dealer is not available, customer can deliver product directly to local Conway terminal with the proper paperwork. (Provided by Splash)

If a customer wants a residential pickup or delivery, there is an additional charge of approximately $60, which would be the customer's responsibility.
